What would you do when the director yells "cut, that's a wrap? Remove all the furnishings, gut the place, and build a huge Mexican Restaurant!"
The downtown address that previously served as host to MTV's The Real World, has transformed into the Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant. The first thing we did was remove the layers of flooring exposing and restoring the original long leaf pine flooring, an incredibly beautiful species! The restaurant features an old Oak Tree suspended over the bar area with light fixtures cascading down and a bar-top constructed out of a solid piece of a Cedar Tree. Dining areas are separated by various half walls finished in aromas cedar and accented by colorful banquets. The bar opens to the exterior patio addition creating an indoor outdoor experience.
Serving these 200 plus seats is a state-of-the-art kitchen. In addition to the extensive equipment package, the finishes consist of stainless steel wall panels, quarry tile flooring and tall ceilings providing an efficient and comfortable operation.
"I am so impressed with the way this went. I will sing your praise from the rooftop!"
