Posados is an 8000 s/f free standing Mexican Restaurant located on N-IH35. You know the one…. the colorful neon lights surrounding the building illuminate up the site so bright you might think you ended up on the Las Vega strip.
For a restaurant, the construction of this building is a bit unique in that the structure is a pre-fab metal building. This created new obstacles for the Mechanical phases of the project as the roof line limited areas for concealing equipment and venting.
The building façade is a combination of colored stucco, metal and continuous large windows creating an open feel to the outside elements. The interior has much of the same feel – accented with large “Corona” chandeliers hanging down from the high ceilings and the bar area separated by large stucco and masonry columns and half walls. The space is full of color including the stained concrete floors. The kitchen is one of the largest we’ve constructed and is finished with all the surfaces required to make a kitchen clean, functional and durable.
