Opal Divine’s second location, the space has a new feel with that same old attitude. A large wood bar with a copper ceiling above, surrounded by tall ceilings exposing the structure, hardy wooded booths and creative scored and stained floors. The walls are finished with paint, faux, brick and large open windows. To service Opals dedicated followers, there is a large kitchen with custom coolers and all the updated gadgets!
The patio deck cantilevering above South Congress is supported by massive steel columns and topped with wood decking partially covered and filled surrounded with state-of-the-art sound system.
Honoring his grandmother, owner and operator, Mike Parker, named the establishment after her. Mike’s grandmother shared the same love for good music, good friends, good drink and good humor. The space is finished with that same spirit!
