Joining forces with another one of Austin success stories was not only great fun but it added four unique projects to our extensive list.

The relationship began with Maudie's first “new construction” project, Maude’s Milagro, which is located on the second level of Davenport Village. The space offers all the flavors of interior Mexico highlighted with rough cedar log ceilings, plaster walls, stained concrete floors and large stained wood framed full glass doors opening to a covered patio surrounded by the beautiful 360 skyline.

Maudie’s Brodie Lane was all new construction and although it maintains the same authentic feel with a completely different finish scheme. The dining room is open with large exposed ceilings lined with raised booth seating cozies up with low metal embossed ceiling panels. The large bar is accented massive stone structure, custom Texas made fixtures, a leather bar-top and plenty of margarita mix-ins! The adjacent patio is partitioned by a cedar fence and served through the outdoor wait station.

Maude’s Round Rock was a remodel of an existing Mexican restaurant – the goal was a face-lift on a minimal budget achieving the feel of a new space. The existing bar was raised and clad with new finishes, the entry re-built, booths recovered and relocated, followed by paint and resurfacing causing a welcome stir among the locals.

Lake Austin Façade was out with the old, in with the new…. Same funky space, same great food – a brand new sombrero! Pinnacle and Frey joined forces again to create a new facade for the aged but favorite Lake Austin Center. The process was minimally evasive to the businesses and the centers character as the new design combined metal, Texas wood and authentic finishes adding height and ambient lighting.

No worries, you can still sip margs on the patio and enjoy all the comforts of a parking lot!
